The ministry of Kids Rock is to help families pass on faith to their kids so that Kids Rock for Jesus. We do this by:

1. Partnering with parents to help them in the process of raising children.

 

2. Creating a exciting learning place for children at church so kids can develop in their relationship with Jesus.

 

3. Having family fun times where parents and their kids can enjoy each other and build friendships with other families.

As parents, our greatest calling is to pass on our faith to our children. God explained this to Moses in Deuteronomy (chapters 4, 6, 11). Paul told the Ephesians (chapter 6) to bring their children up “in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

Jesus placed significant importance on leading children to Him when He said (in Mark chapter 10), “Let the children come to Me and do not forbid them.” We have an important task to bring up our children to follow Jesus.

Psalm 8 tells us “From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…” Children are meant to ROCK for JESUS. Our goal is to see parents and children together ROCKin’ for Jesus. We help you and your children walk in Jesus’ footsteps.

J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) helps each child develop a relationship with Jesus and grow in that relationship. The material we use is called “Heart Shapers” because we want to help shape children’s hearts to be like Jesus. Children learn through Bible stories, songs, crafts, puppets, and games. Children are grouped into classes with others their same grade/age.

We have classes for:

Nursery (birth—under 2)

Twos & Threes

Pre-K and Kindergarten

Grades 1st & 2nd

Grades 3rd—5th

In each kid-friendly service children encounter God in ways children can understand. In Kids Rock Jr. (age 3-Kindergarten), kids have the same theme as in Kids Rock J.A.M, but use different methods to reinforce the lessons. In Kids Rock Live (grades 1—5), children experience God through worship, praise, giving, games, and a message which challenges kids to live up to all that God has for them.

Our kids services are:

Kids Rock Live (grades 1st—5th)

Kids Rock Jr. (age 3—Kindergarten)

Kids Rock Jr 2s (age 18 mos—2)

Nursery is available also at this time.

HighPoint teaches the character traits parents want their kids to learn. Each lesson includes a large-group time with an energetic mix of songs, games, object lessons, interactive Bible stories, and media. There is also a small-group session each week which incorporates hands-on learning that helps children explore how they can apply the character concept to their own lives. Kids learn to think about what they believe. HighPoint is for kids from Kindergarten thru Fifth Grade. We also have Rainbows for children from 3 to Pre-kindergarten.

Watch for Family Fun Nights happening each month somewhere in the area. These events are geared for the entire family to have a fun time with other families.
