The
sin and brokeness of all humanity plays itself out in all of our lives in 4
kinds of brokeness: people experience separation from God; we experience
separation from each other; there is a curse and brokeness in creation and
societies; and we experience personal brokeness as we search for what defines
us. Jesus came to bring a "fusion" to these broken areas.
Together we are a searching for a wholeness that can only come through faith in
Jesus.
Join our Fusion - facebook group, to be kept up on all the latest
events and happenings through the "events" invitations.
Services
Our
youth worship services take place each week during the 10a adult
service. These services are specially geared and designed with the Middle
and High Schooler in mind. We have live music from our student band;
crazy, stupid games and competitions; and a message from God's world that ties
right into where teenagers find themselves. Our services are just an hour
and fifteen minutes long and there is never a dull moment. We
encourage everyone to come just as they are. There is no such
thing as "church clothes" in our minds. And if you bring
the most friends with you, you will get to take home the "fusion
fred". (whatever that means?)
Events - Event Consent Form
Even
the most exciting and action packed programs can become routine and
predictable. So we make every effort to mix it up and keep it
exciting. There is always something new and unexpected going on in
our worship services, but on top of that we do Friday Night Hangs at different
houses. During these evenings we usually eat together, hang out,
play some yard games, listen to music, and just have a good time. WE
generally break into our small groups for a video based discussion that helps
us learn about and talk about our faith in God. We also do various
other scavenger hunts, laser tag nights, skyzone trips, bonfires, and other fun
outings on the weekends. Our activities and events are great opportunities for students to get some hang out time
with our adult leadership staff and each other. They
are also great opportunities for students to involve friends that may not yet
be comfortable actually attending a church service.
We also provide periodic Camps, Retreats, and other Outings. These are generally a little bigger deal than our usual weekend outings. These tend to be very beneficial in the spiritual development of students. They tend to cost a little more money and are therefore spaced out throughout the calendar. Parents are usually informed by letter when one of these events is approaching.
